    SolSource will design a wireless network over your existing building structure so every resident can enjoy wireless internet services in their units and throughout your community.

    DEVICE REGISTRATION

    SolSoure's wifi systems support device and account registration mechanisms including captive portal solutions.  Contrary to many captive portal solutions, once authenticated, SolSource's system will automatically give your residents access to the network without having to authenticate each time.  

    All users submit to an Acceptable Use Policy and can be specified as such that users cannot enable network access without first accepting it.

     

    REDUCED INTERFERANCE

    Any multifamily property using a dynamic wifi environment means user device locations are constantly moving from the bedroom to the living room, to the pool from the fitness room.

    Because these devices are located inside of a high-density area, they experience significant interference and noise stemming from multiple APs using similar operating bands and the use of conflicting rouge agents.

    SolSource's wireless technology will optimize the operating channels and will reject most interference using specialized circuitry.  Our technology isolates signals on the operating channel and blocks adjacent channel interference.  Wireless capacity and throughput are increased in high-density areas, as multiple APs can operate in close proximity with limitted interferance.

    DUAL BAND SYSTEMS

    SolSource wireless networks are designed and built with access points that have the capability to transmit on both the 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz wireless band.  The 2.4 GHz band is many times crowded due to interfering devices such as other wifi access points, microwave ovens, cordless phones, Bluetooth devices and baby monitors.  

    All of these competing devices make for a noisy environment which increase interference and degrades performance.  

    To help solve this problem SolSource will design a dual 5 GHz band which is less crowded than the 2.4 GHz transmission and therefore has improved performance and less interference.  It is for these reasons the 5 GHz transmission makes for a suitable platform for video streaming, VoIP transmission and online gaming applications which are more sensitive to IP packet loss and delays.
